A comment I read is they hold enough Steem to vote in any Witnesses they want and potentially affect the functioning of the Steem blockchain.
As such any fork will have to get rid of their stake to be truly in independent which comes the issue of censorship.....
So if they do this actual witnesses should for steemit off and run a clean slate
