Anyway, I never tried eating Pagpag. Maybe, it's because food is abundant in the countryside and recycling left over foods isn't an option. Why not look for veggies with a little damage in the market, tho? I think some vendor are just throwing them away, and it's healthier than left over foods in the trash.
Grrrr i only mentioned Pagpag, its not like im scouring the city for trash to eat.
The only time i ate pagpag were in the province, made by a relative of which they used mostly rancid rice and added some bad coconut milk + sugar = Something like sapin sapin or any rice cake.
