Intro: I have been a member of the splinterlands community since October 2018 and have always considered to create some content, sharing some of my knowledge/opinion about the game and after a long time of procrastination, I finally decide to start and see where this goes :)

I will share my thoughts opinion on some of the cards I currently use a lot and see them as game changers in many situations. My opinion probably will be biased based on my experience with those cards and if you tend to disagree on something, feel free to share your opinion in the comments below.

Just as I promised, I will mention one more gem from the Death splinter that can be a game changer ...

The Cursed Slimeball

Being a "ghost" card, the slimeball can be easily overlooked. While in the low leagues it's just a "meat" for taking some damage off, at gold level it becomes a a deadly (pun intended) threat to the opposing team, especially in low mana matches. The cursed slimeball is the onlu common card with the "redemption" ability in the game currently. I will talk more about the cursed slimeball when I start my series about powerful synergies in the game, but now I want to mention 2 really powerful uses of it's ability - upon death (supposedly the very first turn) it either destroys the shield that Tyrus or Kelya provide (and for Tyrus that's the only ability he provides, thus turning it useless) or the divine shield that Lorna provides (also her only ability).

Whereas at lvl.1 it's useful as a meat shield in low mana cap games, at lvl.6 the cursed slimeball really starts shining and while it currently costs around 50$ (only 1 left at that price, with the next being over 70$), on the rental market it's less than 20 Dec, which makes it quite affordable.

Outro: I hope you found something informative or useful in this article and I appreciate any effort in my future endeavors, so an upvote or comment/opinion are appreciated as I will be trying to get a feel what the community finds useful and what not so much. Thank you for your time reading and I hope the splinterlands Gods bless you with plenty of dec, sps and gold-foil legendaries!
