As for the proposal... I had been planning it but based on the convos we were having - I realized I was planning an engagement for my "ex-wife"...
Brittany wouldn't want all the things I had planned... she would just want to be married...
So I realized that if I was about to head into the second half of my life... I couldn't imagine doing it without her with me :)
