Good morning Splinterfriends - while @splinterlands is doing a lot of amazing things right and I hope 2026 is a decent year...
There seems to be something they are doing really, REALLY wrong.
Maybe it's just me. Maybe I'm the crazy one...
But I'd like to see what you guys think.

Playing against a bot and winning is extremely difficult and here's why:
A. They get EVERY CARD at the top level
B. They run Optimized Teams for EVERY RULESET
C. RNG "seems" to favor them hitting 85% chance to miss and Humans missing 10% chance to Miss...
Solutions:
A. Make more of the Bots with NON MAX CARDS.
B. STOP GIVING THEM MAX REWARD/VOUCHER CARDS!!!!!
Do you know how frustrating it is to play daily, earn several hundred thousand Glint each season and still only have mid level Reward Cards while the Bots are just GIVEN THEM???
C. Make more of the Bots that DON'T HAVE THE LEGENDARY SUMMONERS

Bots being this difficult are problematic for two primary reasons.
A. They serve as gatekeepers for the Scholars.
The Scholars play accounts that have every card. That's cool. Good for you. But they can beat the Bots relatively easy then... so they can "farm" them and get up to 10k Rating Points...
The higher they go, the more SPS/Glint they earn...
But if the normal players can't get past 3800-3900 for the first week or so... the Scholars can just drain the Reward Pool before anyone else gets there.
The Bots are allowing the Scholars to leech the SPS from Splinterlands by keeping the "Normal" player, who only has $5-$10k invested in Modern and doesn't have every single card BELOW the 4k threshold for about a week.
B. Scholars already beat the bajeesus out of the Normal Players so it is essentially like going from getting beat up by a Pro to being beat up by a Terminator.

Use the solutions to the bots to "scale them down" so we aren't losing 80%+ of every bot battle...
"Just turn the bots off" - oh right, let me do that and then wait 5+ minutes for match, only to face a Scholar and lose...
At this point the choices seem to be:
Play with Bots and matchmaking is 1-2m but lose a lot...
Play without Bots and matchmaking 4-5m but lose slightly less...
If the team can't see why this is A BAD THING... I will spell it out:
A game that is highly unwinnable is not a game worth playing. Games should be FUN. They need to provide Dopamine.
The Whales/Scholars already have a ton of benefits like Heloise that's limited to only 100 cards and is almost an automatic WinCon... Not to mention it's a card that only the people who could pay $1,000 could buy...
Notice the bots don't have THAT card... 😑
If the company is just going to shit on the average player by leaving the bots this insanely difficult... I suspect they are going to find themselves without a lot of average players if anything else goes sideways.
The bots don't need to be EASY... but they don't need to be this hard.
Without a decent chance of winning a match here and there, why would anyone want to play a game like that?
Everything and I mean everything is benefitting the Whales/Scholars right now and the normal "Players" need something to keep them playing.
Tone the Bots down.

Why not run a Proposal? Because I am sure those who benefit from their Scholars sucking up all the SPS would vote this down.
Playing Splinterlands since August 2021, I am not aware that a case like this exists.

In gold, match making is usually within 90 seconds, I turned the bots off for the exact reasons you mention, what silver level player has ALL the op legendary and promo cards at max for silver level, getting higher in to gold this only gets worse.
I find the bots are either too hard or too easy to beat. They do require a lot of fine tuning to get right. As you mention they have all the cards which I for one do not. I find in champion they use poison burst as much as possible. Which in itself can be easy to counter, especially when they put it on random units that don't get hit. I think the root of the problem is we need more players and this is noticed more and more towards the top end. Hopefully the player base is increasing and over time we can switch the liquidity bots off or reduce them at least.
