Finished the season in Silver I with 11 Gold rewards chests to open. They were decent - especially the 287 SPS which will get locked away should I ever unstake. Couldn't play as much as I would have liked to towards the end of the season but Silver I and 11 chests is still decent.
The rewards cards were not too bad either with the orc looking good for an upgrade soon. Similarly for the War Pegasus.
SPS Ebbs and Flows

After the much written about changes to the rewards mechanism and the new importance of SPS compared to the deck value, there were some hopes that it would lift SPS prices.
To be fair, it has made an impact. SPS was in a freefall and would probably have crashed below 1 cent if nothing was done. Now it seems to be stable at around 2.2 cents.
In my opinion, if the price of SPS is to increase in a sustained fashion, 3 things need to be done. First, players need to be encouraged to lock up their SPS and only sell reluctantly.
Second, the inflation rate needs to be reduced for long term stability. While it won't crash because the payout is denominated in SPS and not a third party currency, real world and crypto examples have shown that anything over 20% results in devaluation in a crash. There is a tradeoff between making the project attractive for investors and long-term stability.
Finally, don't skimp on promotion especially at the high-end. If the crash before the boom taught us anything, it was that ultimately the fortunes of the game is decided by the few money bags at the top rather than the thousands of players/bots at the bottom.
Anyway, here's to another good season ahead!
Truly, the changes to require SPS for maximum rewards have actually impacted SPS price. No one would ever be in doubt of this, but the suddenness of the change was what raised eyebrows.
The SPS haul in your reward is amazing.
Yay! 🤗
