I have been playing Splinterlands for a few months now. I have never thought of it as actually owning game assets.
If I tried to resell monopoly parts, not only is there not much of a market for that but also there could be licensing issues.
With SPlinterlands I can sell and even rent the NFTs Cards that I have purchased or been gifted.

Definitely and that is the best part of it!
I agree that is the best part, not me not yet but some people are making a lot of money renting out Splinterlands cards 😀
