Today has been a busy day for me as usual. But I actually had the time to fight battles in the Splinterlands. After logging in, I was able to do my free spin via the wheel spin and I won 1000 sparks and got a bonus of 10% which was extra 100 sparks. That was the first good news for the day before I moved on to play the FRONTIER league and fought over 5 battles which were definitely tough but all the same, I succeeded in winning 5 battles in the league and as able to claim a set of prizes. The prizes consisted of two foundation cards and an entry into the weekly FORTUNE draw. I was also asked to adorn myself with a human only hat for playing five battles in the FRONTIER league. The hat looked adorable as there were various one so the one that caught my attention the most was what I picked. The foundation cards in my daily claimed prizes were two in number because I am currently in the BRONZE III rank and trying to rank up at the moment. Last night got me playing battles in the MODERN league and I successfully boosted my GLINT amount which is good news. I got a mission to accomplish tonight too just to see what can be achieved if I put in more work and time.
I just noticed an announcement in the Splinterlands official discord server which mentioned that an ongoing Airdrop will be hosted by the Splinterlands team to celebrate her Eighth Anniversary. So it has been stated that anyone who plays a battle between Tuesday 26th May by 1am to Wednesday 27th May by 13:00pm will receive a special token which is going to be redeemable in the nearest future for a special reward. A reminder has also been shared on the Electrofox purchases which says that the purchase is limited to 12 cards in the first two weeks. A card is being included in the bundle and the number of cards that can be purchased individually from the shop is up to 11 cards. Just one person , one account and one household is eligible to make this purchase and the limitations will be lifted after the two weeks. The cards I got today in the FRONTIER league include the COLOSSUS RAIDER and the KANAAQ MINER. I haven’t been a big fan of the COLOSSUS RAIDER until recently when I started using it to win battles that was when I realized its capabilities. Both cards are MELEE Attack cards but while the first can reduce an enemys life by 2 the second can only reduce an enemys life by 1. Ever since then, I have been adding them to my team when need be.
