RE: Fifth Untamed Legendary Summoner Revealed

in #splinterlands4 years ago

Interesting card, is the “guaranteed” drop going to keep increasing? Last few it was 400 packs. I was saving up to cross 400 packs bought but if it’s just going to continually increase I might not waste my time.

Sort:

Each legendary card airdropped = +25

When you open a pack (without potions) the chance of getting legendary = 0.8% = 1/125, that means that you get 1 legendary card on average for each 25 packs opened. That's from 25 comes from. Right now there is 18 legendary untamed cards, so 25 * 18 = 450. For next airdrop it will be 475.

Ah well thanks for clearing that up.

Yes. The final Dragon Legendary Summoner will probably be 1 guaranteed for each 475 boosters. IF the remaining cards are also Legendaries, the amount required will continue to increase. But there is also the chance that the final 5 airdrop cards could be Common, Rare, or Epic. In fact, there already is one Rare airdropped card, the Drake of Arnak. In these scenarios, the amount required for a guaranteed airdrop will be much lower.

Off topic but how many accounts do you have? I see that you're constantly dominating the gold league leaderboard by keeping your win:loss ratio near 1:1. A little challenging that that type of thing keeps others out of the higher ranks, that struggle to try and get wins in a league like gold.

Well I personally own and play two accounts (byzantinist and byzantinekitty) which are both gold level accounts (in that their cards are gold level) which is why they are in gold league.

I also own two silver level accounts where I let other, newer players play them and we split the winnings.

And I play two accounts in ranked (both Champion league) owned by other players and we split the winnings.

To be at the top of the gold leaderboard requires a combination of skill, good cards, and time.

Rumor has it he is also kick-ass

As I said: "And I play two accounts in ranked (both Champion league) owned by other players and we split the winnings."
