Dude this is an EPIC article. Wish I had seen it sooner, but thanks to @tarazkp reblogging it through his account, I somehow stumbled onto it nearly 9 months later.
@azircon also helped me with my Hive awakening. I am very lucky to have AZ and Taraz in my guild to lend me support and answer my Hive questions. For my first year, I was also a bit of an extractor. I would post some brawl and EoS content and then sell the HIVE for DEC to buy more Splinterlands assets.
At least my crypto earnings stayed on the HIVE blockchain. In all my years here (I joined about 2 months after you), I have never once taken crypto OFF of HiveBlocks. Not SPS, Not DEC, Not HIVE. Yes I'm stacking crypto on HIVE to grow my wealth (HBD and swap.BTC). I'm also steadily powering up more HP every month, typically taking advantage of the fun bee awards we get for Hive Power Up Day (HPUD).
Yes, I could definitely be more consistent with my writing. I barely even get one Splinterlands social media challenge done each week, when there are decent rewards for your effort. I try to post on Actifit daily as a combo of workout accountability and a daily thought/activity journal, but I've missed plenty of days (with some big step counts). Ironically, I'm a senior writer/editor for an EDM brand so I'm doing plenty of writing every week.
My favorite part about Hive isn't even the creation though, it is commenting. That truly is my preferred medium for interaction and building relationships. It is going through all the #Splinterlands Snaps every day to upvote, comment, and get to know the active accounts. Or trying to keep up with Taraz's daily articles because they are typically thought provoking enough to make me consider how his message applies to me and then commenting to see what he thinks of my take.
Some days I forget to curate anything at all. Some days I curate so much content I drive my voting power below 50%. But I'm almost always giving 100% upvotes and I usually upvote any comment on my articles as long as there is some thought going into it. I still haven't gotten on board with the curation trails though. I much prefer to upvote manually, even if that means I'm not maximizing my HIVE earnings.
Wow, this comment could have been its own article, but then again, that's kind of how I roll. Well, I hope this 9-month late comment finds you well. Also, did you know bass music producers/DJs Subtronics, Wooli, and Level Up just released wubby dubstep track called "DINGUS" It fucking SLAPS!! Must have heard it 4 times already at Lost Lands Festival this year. Check it out!
I love it dude! Thanks for the great comment and no I didn't know about Dingus but I can't wait to play it in my van!!
I'm sure it will sound amazing with my two Sundown Audio ZV6 18" Subs with 15k of power pushing them #WubLyfe
Hope you've been well my friend and great to hear from you :)
That said, where is your form dingus? You always need a kick in the backside
While the latter can be true - I am not certain what you mean by "form"?
Form meaning writing a sensational post.
It’s been a while that you have written a controversial and sensational post.
Without controversy blog gets stale :)
Wait until you see the post about the American Health Care System then :P
I can fix it - I am going to fix it... it is my purpose on Earth.
