Hello guys, welcome to my blog. I was inactive on hive and splinterlands a long time for some personal reasons and now I am back. I recently played some battles on splinterlands and I am willing to share them on hive blockchain as splinterlands hosts two battle challenges "Share Your Battle" & "Social Media Challenge".

My Splinterlands Battle With Drake Of Arnaak.

image.png

The Drake of Arnak is a medium-sized Dragon hybrid. He is highly intelligent and extremely rich, but cannot fly nor breathe fire. All his life he has honed his skills as a summoner, hoping to win a share of the glory that should rightfully be his as a carrier of the fire blood. The Drake's trademark is that his monsters are summoned to battle with a thin force field of blue fire, fortifying their defenses. Forms have been filed by the High Council to formally request that the Drake of Arnak hand over his secrets for the good of the united Gloridax, but he will not give up his proprietary magic without a fight. The Drake of Arnak is the Gloridax rival of Daria Dragonscale; the two despise one another...More

Stats of DRAKE OF ARNAAK.

Drake of Arnaak is a rare dragon summoner. It adds one extra armor to all the friendly monsters. It needs 5 cards to level it up to level 2 and after leveled up to 2, we can use level 3 common monsters, level 2 rare monsters, level 2 epic monsters and level 1 legendary monsters. It need 115 cards to level it up to level 8 and after leveled up to 8, we can use level 10 common monsters, level 8 rare monsters, level 6 epic monsters and level 4 legendary monsters. It is an untamed summoner and costs 4 mana.

Now let me tell you the brief information about the battle.

Lineup

The combat rule of the battle is Standard and the mana cap was 27. I chose fire splinter as I have the best unit Living Lava and I can't use this monster unless I select fire splinter.

I choose DRAKE OF ARNAAK as a summoner and chose LIVING LAVA in the first position as it has SHIELD ability. Then I chose TENYII STRIKER as it has SNEAK ability. Then I chose SERPENTINE SPY as it has OPPORTUNITY ABILITY. Then in the fourth position, I chose SCAVO HIRELING as it has REPAIR ability . Then in the fifth position, I chose SCAVO FIREBOLT as it has high damage with high speed. Then in the sixth position, I chose RADIATED SCORCHER as it costs low mana.

The opponent chose Earth splinter and chose OBSIDIAN as his summoner and this summoner adds one magic damage to all the friendly monsters. Then he placed UNICORN MUSTANG with Void ability at the first position, CHAOS AGENT. Then he placed MYCELIC MORPHOID, REGAL PERYTON with FLYING ability, GOBLIN PSYCHIC with TANK HEAL ability, KHMER PRINCESS with high magic damage.

First Monster

Not all lava is alive; most of the time, it responds to gravity as expected. But the stuff that comes from the very core of the Molten Mountains... There's just something special about it....more

The LIVING LAVA I used in the battle was leveled one Cursed Windeku and it had three melee damages, one speed, two armors and six health with SHIELD ability. I personally like this monster because of its SHIELD ability with high health, damage and armor.

Second Monster

image.png

A dozen generations sandwiched between the hammer of the Khans' cruelty and the anvil of the icy foothills of Kurguzd forged the Tenyii into reclusive deadly foes. Brought to the training creche from birth, taught to steal for food, beaten when caught and trained daily with the sword and spear as soon as they were strong enough for their hands to lift steel, the Tenyii clan were hard as iron and as fierce and silent as midnight on the mountain glacier...more

The TENYII STRIKER I used in the battle was leveled one TENYII STRIKER and it had two melee damages, two speed, no armors and six health. I love this Tenyii Striker because of its Sneak ability with high amount of melee damage and speed.

Third Monster

image.png

Serpentines are naturally sneaky, but their highly-trained spies can infiltrate even the most secure bases in the Splinterlands. They wear minimal armor, because they are never caught. Retractable miniature spears are the chosen weapon of the Serpentine Spies; they can be hidden easily and brandished quickly for many uses...more

The Serpentine Spy I used in the battle was leveled one Serpentine Spy and it had two melee damages, three speed, no armors and one health. I love this Serpentine Spy because of its Opportunity ability with high amount of melee damage and speed.

Fourth Monster

image.png

Scavo Hirelings are good at just about everything. Not great, not poor, just good. They enjoy doing menial tasks that don't require too much thought or effort. Whether it's digging ditches, bandaging wounds, or cooking a meal, they can get it done in no time at all. They accept coin as payment but don't really need it. They'd rather be paid in...more

The Scavo Hireling I used in the battle was leveled one Scavo Hireling and it had 0 damages, two speed, no armors and one health. I love this Scavo Hireling because of its Repair ability with low mana cost.

Fifth Monster

image.png

Living within the Realm of Silence, the mole-like race of Scavo were affected by the toxic gas from the Mountain of Ash. They became highly intelligent and worked diligently to protect their home from the blight. Scavo Firebolts were particularly changed by their proximity to the magma, developing the ability to summon and launch bolts of fire from their palms....more

The Scavo Firebolt I used in the battle was leveled one Scavo Firebolt and it had 2 range damage, two speed, no armors and two health. I love this Scavo Firebolt because of its high damage with high speed.

Sixth Monster

image.png

The spreading blight on the continent of Praetoria twisted both the land and its people. Those nearest the poisonous gases and infernal heat of Mount Praetorous were corrupted and twisted. Their skin was singed, cracked, and lined with burn marks that never healed. They were left in a constant state of agony that slowly drove them mad. The corruption also....more

The Radiated Scorcher I used in the battle was leveled one Radiated Scorcher and it had one melee damage, two speed, no armors and two health. I love this Radiated Scorcher because of its low mana cost and it costs only one mana.

Did my strategy work ?

  • No my strategy didn't work. While placing the cards, I thought I had put the best monsters I have and after seeing the opponent's strategy, I thought I could lose and that happened.

Do I like DRAKE OF ARNAAK ?

  • Obviously DRAKE OF ARNAAK is a good summoner and I love to use it.
