For the Weekly Challenge I'm going to talk about Djinn Chwalla.
THEME: DRAGONS
Edition: Reward
Rarity: Epic
Element: DRAGON + WATER
ATTACK: Melee
ABILITIES: Thorns (Enrage + True Strike on a higher Level)
I think Chwalla is an awesome card and undervalued ($ 0,81~) for an Epic Card. Even on level 1 already have a decent Attack Damage (2) + Good Armor (5) and HP (9) with Thorns ability!
Besides that, it is very worth it to level him up, as you can see below he gains a lot of good stats and additional abilities.
What kind of Rule Sets should you be picking him? Chwalla is useful in other Rule Sets, but he is particularly good in those ones below.
Opportunity and Melee Mayhem: in this rule he doesn't need to be in the 1st position and be a 2nd Tank without being useless.
Up Close and Personal: Well, I think this is a pretty obvious decision since the opponent will choose only Melee monsters. If you don't have Mylor Crowling or Earth Splinter isn't an option for the battle go with him.
Super Sneak: I like to put him in First or Last Position with Cursed Windeku and a support monster with Amplify! It usually works pretty well.
The Battle
In this battle I could choose between: Life, Water, Earth and Dragon Splinter. The rule set was Equal Opportunity and Even Stevens with 16 Mana.
I decided to pick Dragon Splinter with Byzantine Kitty Legendary Summoner. The strategy was to strike 1st (like Cobra Kai 🤣) with +2 Speed and make Chwalla tough to die with Healing.
I got lucky because the Goblin Thief was the monster with the lowest health and I didn't choose any monsters with Magic Damage. Chwalla took him down pretty quickly and Stonesplitter Orc couldn't do anything against thorns by the end of round 4.
