Greetings to all my fellow players around the world and to Splinterlands. How are you all doing Splinters? Hope you are all doing great. For todays Splinterlands Social Media Challenge I will be sharing my game progress.
Playing Splinterlands is all about strategy. Weather its low, medium or high mana or with diffirent modifiers, strategy is one thing but having a deep deck is equally important. One player can buy packs, buy specific cards or rent in the open market.
Buying packs is good for Splinterlands since it can help the economy of the game, while buying specific cards and renting somehow helps as well indirectly. It also makes impact when the market is graceful from renting and and buying specific cards.
As of the moment I don't have the luxury of buying packs because it is a gamble and I might have a broken line up so what I am doing is buying cards that are important to my gameplay and renting as well to complete my line up. But sometimes gamble pays off, with the introduction of gold foil and black foil arcane we have a chance to hit a jackpot. Renting takes away some of my supposedly profit but its alright, I needed to have a deeper deck to be competetive, and as long as profit is higher than my expense then its fine for me.
Here are my latest addition to my deck, these are all essential cards for me to win in battle.
LORKUS

BARASHKUKOR
 | A legenday magic unit from death with fury ability. The killer of unit with taunt ability. | Battle link, destroys everything in its path. |
BELLOWMANCER
 | A legenday magic unit from neutral that belongs to ulund bloodline with taunt ability | Battle link drawing all attacks singlehandedly |
INEPT HEALER
 | A legendary fire magic unit that belongs to dwarf bloodline has magic reflect ability | Battle link at little league modifier, suits hime best in battle like this. |
DAARG DEADBLAST
 | A legendary magic water unit with weapons traing and swiftness ability | Battle link, helping my team to speed up and providing 2 magic damage to daigendark surveyor. |
ZEBAJIN
 | A legendary magic earth unit with armored strike ablity. | Battle link using as a tank to help my team win. A versatile unit that can play different role in every battle. |
SHENG XIAO
 | A legendary Dragon Archon that grants poison burst and corrosive ward to all allied unit. | Battle link killing the enemy with his posion burst. |
ABYSSAL ELEMENTAL
 | An epic magic water unit with resurgence ability. | Battle link showcasing his epic ability of resurgence with all stats intact. |
Those are the most recent addition I've had that I feel I needed to do to eliminate some of the rental cost. I also had common and rare purchases that I did not include because its too long for one post. There are so many cards now with all different sets Splinterlands had release. As a collector myself I want to have everything because these are nft's, and we own this. I encourage all players like me who are renting to slowly build deck, it will help us progress in the game. Its a long way to go for me to complete my goal of card collections but as they say, it begins in first step.

So you suggest that it is best to purchase the cards to save the cost of renting them again and again. Wow this is a good option and as you mentioned, once purchased, like NFTs, we become the owner of these cards, meaning we can trade them whenever we want. Thankyou for sharing this post. :)

But I don't have much fund so I am just slowly buying those cards that fits my gameplay, maybe later on all of them😊
