it's Christmas time ...who on earth can possibly sit down and write an article about Splinterlands battles instead of playing around and having good time with family and friends?

but who said that we cannot do both, meaning having good time with family and friends while writing an article about Splinterlands and shouting to everybody around you WHAT A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE SPLINTERLANDS IS!!!!

this week's challenge host Prismologist, a very important monster-card imo
Chaos Legion provided us with many serious monster-cards and Prismologist is one of them
a Life Splinter Epic monster Prismologist has a ravaging ability...Blast from lvl 1
this single monster gave Life Splinter a new hypostasis
definitely a support unit this lady offers great value services to the whole team when used
as a flaw i would say is the high mana points which consumes in order to fight, you need to spend 8 of your remaining mana points if you want her in your battle combination
apart from this i cannot find anything negative for this range attack monster
it has a massive attack power of 3 hit points from lvl 1, an armor of 2 points and if you decide to upgraded you get 4 attack points and Silence in maximum lvl
lets see the monster's stats before we go any further

..Prismologist's battle..
a battle with 60 mana points cap was giving the chance to use actually any monster combination you could think of
in this rule-set you could choose from 4 Splinters, Water - Earth - Dragons and Life
i decided ,having a specific strategy in mind, to go with Life Splinter
Prismologist in such high mana cap most of the times is a Must for me so there was no doubt if i was gonna use her or not
the strategy that the battle was built on though had nothing to do with Prismologist , as mentioned above Prismologist is a support monster and as such she was used
the Summoner picked was Chanseus the great
Chanceus is a very expensive Summoner ,delegated to me , with very serious abilities
it repairs the armor of the monster that has taken the most damage, it heals the back-line monster that has taken the most damage and resurrects the monster that will first die in the battle field
i had to spend 7 mana points in order to use him but i had a lot in stock so i didn't care much about it
resurrection was the ability i was more interested in and you will see the reason why in the following lines
the main idea was to get as many resurrections of my tank as i could
i wanted to get a tank with Void Armor ability and Alvar was the best pick for this role
Void Armor would stop magic attacks to penetrate armor and resurrection would give my tank the chance to fight again
Darius was also an important card in this combination cause he provided resurrect ability once again
my opponent was extremely strong
his deck was maximum upgraded for the league lvl we were playing at
and i had a serious problem to face him
but my strategy outperformed his deck power
as said in first place i got Legionnaire Alvar
in second place another tank Kralus was summoned to offer its services,this is not a usual pick though but in this fight it seemed that it could work this way, and it really did
in third place ,support monster High Priest Darius was chosen for his resurrect ability and of course for his 3 magic attack power points
in fourth place Adelade was picked to help with her repair ability
in the last two places i wanted to add some attack power to my team so this is the actual reason i got Evangelist and of course Prismologist causing some extra damage with blast
i had a maximum of 14 attack points including the blast damage, i knew that i was behind in damage against my rival but i had invested in defense...my main line of strategy was to be able to absorb all my enemy's attack power and try to survive the first round
i'm happy everything went as planned

the fight was a masterpiece
Alvar managed to survive 3 rounds through resurrections and gave my team the opportunity to fight back and step by step to destroy my rival's forces
i enjoyed every single hit and i was very proud that i managed to win against a stronger opponent
