In the above Splinterlands brawl battle, I had less cards than my opponent, @kawash, but thanks to the archon choice I made of Thaddeus Brood, which lessened my opponent's magic attacks by 1, my tank/front card, was able to be unaffected by every single attack my enemy units delivered (since they were all limited to a single magic attack hit point).
The Magic Reflect had no affect on my Dark Arborist card, nor mine to his. So once I had eliminated his back row, simply by magic reflecting every one of their attacks back to them, the Arborist got to work on cutting down his Arborist. I was able to regain my 2nd magic hit point once eliminating both of his back-line cards that had the Silence ability (each limiting my magic attack points by 1, however, I could still retain 1 hit point, as no card's attack can be brought to 0.
