Hi!
I am macha-tw from the Japanese guild "Dragon’S Brigade_Vermilion Squad"!

I see that a new system for ranked battles has been announced on townhall!
we will no longer be able to choose not to move up to a higher league, and as you win,
will be forced to fight against opponents with higher card levels.

Personally, I think it is too subtle because there is nothing to learn from fighting and losing against opponents of different card levels.

Well, we won't know until it starts, so let's wait for the upgrade with a sense of excitement!

Now, here are the rules for this Battle Mage Secret!

RULESET: Counterspell

Description:
All units receive the magic reflect ability at the start of the battle. Enemy units that attack with magic receive damage back.
Damage returned is equal to the damage of the attacker divided by 2, rounded up.
Magic units with the reflection shield ability do not take damage from reflected magic attacks.
The amplify ability increases damage.

Monsters with magic attacks take counterattack damage every time they attack,
so the composition would be centered on monsters with either melee or long-range attacks.

Again, as usual, this is one of the games of the Modern Bronze Tournament.

The rules are low at 22 mana.
In addition to Counterspell, there are Rise of the Commons and Holy Protection rules.
The only attributes that can be selected are Water and Dragon!

This time I chose Water's Summoner, PROPHET ROSA.
It is a samoner that can give Shilde to one or +2 long range attack to two.

Since it was a bronze league + rise of common, the status of both enemies and allies were likely to be low,
so the strategy was to give them +2 long-range attack to make a difference in attack power.

The first monster is CHAOS REAR GUARD.
Because of Counterspell rules, magic attacks are not expected to come, so I use him with his Shield ability, which reduces melee and long-range attack damage.

The second one is PIRATE OF EIGHT.
Reach's abilities allow it to attack from the second row.
Since it also has the Blast ability, it can damage both the first and second enemy.
I thought that the enemy will probably also produce a monster with Shield ability for the first one,
so the goal is to attack the second row.

The third monster was CHAOS LACKEY.
I had already decided on the first, second, and fourth monsters to play first, so I just chose a long-range attack monster that I could choose with the extra mana.

Actually, I was not sure which one I would put out with MAR TOREN SEEKER, but with him having SNIPE, the attacks would be dispersed.
I like to concentrate my attacks, so I used CHAOS LACKEY this time.

The fourth pair is SULTRY BARMAID.
He has the Ambush ability.
The strategy is to increase the attack power with Summoner's ability and use Ambush to attack quickly.

The Holy Protection rule nullifies the initial attack, so if the attack is scattered with sneak and snipe, it will be too late to reduce the number of enemies.
Therefore, all monsters concentrate their attacks on the enemy's head.

The opponent is AKANE, a Dragon Summoner.
She is a powerful Summoner who can give Ambush abilities to two monsters.
The first is SEA DOG OF EIGHT with high attack power and strength.
Its high attack power, which cannot be suppressed to zero even with Shield, is troublesome.

The second body is the same PIRATE OF EIGHT as here.
The first and second are paired with Pieces of Eight pirate monsters!

chose ANASTH SOOTHSAYER as the third monster, which has the ability Tank Heal to restore strength.
It was unexpected that a monster with magic attack would come!

The monsters with long-range attacks will not be able to attack if they are at the front of the line,
The key will be how much we can reduce the number of enemies before my CHAOS REAR GUARD is defeated.

At the start of Round 2, the first character's armor and stamina were depleted due to the number of ambush attacks by both players, although the game was played under Holy Protection rules.

The CHAOS REAR GUARD has been damaged by magic attacks, but it seems to be holding its own at this pace.

Round3開始。
Taking advantage of its high attack power, it succeeded in defeating SEA DOG OF EIGHT in the lead, and ANASTH SOOTHSAYER's strength was also reduced by Magic Reflect's counterattack.

CHAOS LACKEY's attack hit the last remaining ANASTH SOOTHSAYER and won!

Monsters with long-range attacks have the disadvantage of not being able to attack when they are in the lead, which makes them difficult to use in low mana rules where there are few monsters that can use.
In this article, we introduced a pattern of using PROPHET ROSA's ability to buff long-range attacks to defeat the enemy before the Tank collapses.

日本人ギルド「龍の旅団_朱雀隊」のmacha-twです!

ランクバトルの新しいシステムがtownhallで告知されましたね。
上位リーグに上がるか上がらないかを選択できなくなり、勝ち上がっていくとカードレベルが上の相手と強制的に戦わなければいけない仕組みになります。

個人的にはカードレベルが違う相手と戦って負けても学べるものがないので微妙かなぁと思います。
まぁ始まってみないとわからないので、ドキドキしながらバージョンアップを待ちましょう!

今回のバトルメイジシークレット、ルールはこちらです!

ルールセット: Counterspell

バトル開始時に全てのユニットが魔法反射能力を得て魔法で攻撃した敵軍ユニットにダメージを返す。
返されるダメージは攻撃側のダメージを2で割った値と同じであり、切り上げられる。
リフレクトシールド能力を持つ魔法ユニットは反射された魔法攻撃によるダメージを受けない。
アンプリファイ能力はダメージを増加させる。

魔法攻撃を持つモンスターは攻撃をする度に反撃ダメージを受けるので、近接攻撃か遠距離攻撃を持つモンスター中心の構成になりますね。

今回もいつもの様にモダンのブロンズトーナメントの1戦です。

マナが22と低めのルールです。
Counterspellの他にRise of the CommonsとHoly Protectionのルールがあります。
選択できる属性はWaterとDragonのみ!

今回私が選んだのはWaterのサモナー、PROPHET ROSA。
1体にShildeか、2体に遠距離攻撃+2を付与できるサモナーです。
ブロンズリーグ+rise of commonということで敵も味方もステータスが低めになりそうでしたので遠距離攻撃+2を付与して攻撃力で差をつける作戦です。

今回私が組んだデッキはこちらです。

1体目のモンスターはCHAOS REAR GUARD。
Counterspellのルールのため魔法攻撃は来ないと思われるので、近接攻撃と遠距離攻撃ダメージを減らすShieldのアビリティを持っている彼を使います。

ところで、彼の全身像見たことありますか?

2体目はPIRATE OF EIGHT。
Reachのアビリティで2列目からも攻撃が可能です。
Blastも持っているので、敵の1、2体目の両方にダメージを与えられます。
おそらく敵も1体目はShieldのアビリティを持ったモンスターを出すと考えたので2列目を攻撃するのが目的です。

3体目はCHAOS LACKEY。
先に1、2、4体目に出すモンスターを決めていたので、余ったマナで選べる遠距離攻撃のモンスターを選んだだけです。

実はMAR TOREN SEEKERとどちらを出すか迷ったのですが、snipeを持つ彼の場合は攻撃が分散してしまいます。
攻撃は集中させるのが好きなので今回はCHAOS LACKEYを使いました。

4対目はSULTRY BARMAID。
Ambushのアビリティを持っています。
サモナーの能力で攻撃力を上げて、Ambushを使って速攻を仕掛ける作戦です。

Holy Protectionルールで初撃を無効化されてしまうためsneakやsnipeを入れて攻撃を散らさと敵の数を減らすのが遅れてしまいます。
そのため、全モンスターで敵の先頭を集中攻撃する構成です。

相手はDragonサモナーのAKANE。
モンスター2体にAmbushのアビリティを付与できる強力なサモナーです。
1体目は高い攻撃力と体力のSEA DOG OF EIGHT。
Shieldでもダメージを0に抑えられない高い攻撃力が厄介です。

2体目はこちらと同じPIRATE OF EIGHT。
1体目と2体目をPieces of Eight海賊団のモンスターで組んでるの、オシャレですね。

3体目に体力回復のアビリティTank Healを持つANASTH SOOTHSAYERを選んでいます。
魔法攻撃を持ったモンスターが来るのは想定外でした!

遠距離攻撃のモンスターは先頭に出てしまうと攻撃が出来なくなってしまうので、
こちらのCHAOS REAR GUARDが倒される前に敵をどれだけ減らせるかが鍵になりそうです。

Round2開始時点、Holy Protectionルールですがお互いambushで攻撃回数が多いので結構先頭キャラのarmorや体力が減っています。
魔法攻撃でCHAOS REAR GUARDがダメージを受けてしまっていますが、このペースなら持ち堪えてくれそうです。

Round3開始。
高い攻撃力を活かして先頭のSEA DOG OF EIGHTを倒すことに成功し、ANASTH SOOTHSAYERの体力もMagic Reflectの反撃で削っています。
ここまで来れば、もうこちらの負けはないでしょう。

最後に残ったANASTH SOOTHSAYERにCHAOS LACKEYの攻撃がヒットして勝利!

遠距離攻撃を持つモンスターは先頭に出ると攻撃ができなくなるデメリットがあるので、出せるモンスターが少ない低いマナルールだと使いにくさがあります。
今回はPROPHET ROSAの能力で遠距離攻撃にバフをかけることでTankが崩れる前に敵を倒すパターンの紹介でした。
