What is Splinterlands?
Splinterlands is a card game, similar with Hearthstone, where you can play battle against other players to get a better rank or in tournaments. It is a NFT game based on Hive Blockchain, with multiple ways to capitalise and make money, real money, by playing it or trading in it. You can start earning as soon as you buy a Spellbook ($10) getting DEC tokens and NFT monster cards via daily quests and season quests (every 2 weeks). The airdrop ended. You can still get some rewards staking all you SPS for a 33.90% APR right now. Holy Molly! I got one validator, and all the licences from the pre-sale were sold in 12 minutes. You can buy one in the Tranche 1, paying $3000 in SPS. You can get it much cheaper (around $800 less) if you buy 500 Vouchers and use them when you buy a licence. Another way to make profit is to rent cards, getting paid in DEC tokens for it. But, my, oh my, the renting price right now is so, so low. Check the contest at the end of this post!
We can buy still Chaos Legion packs with 4$, using just DEC, for a 45% discount right now (something like $2.10 per pack instead of $4). Even then, if you want to get the extra packs, you still need vouchers, but just for the bonus packs. An awesome hint from a really good player (not me), if you open your packs after the Legendary summoners are introduced, you have a small chance to get them from the packs. It was announced that Lands NFT and Riftwatchers pack are coming in the third quarter now, with the new Roadmap proposed by Splinterlands. Just check this awesome page about what are the Lands supposed to do.
The Tenyii Striker is a Rare Fire splinter unit, from Chaos Legion series, and at max level it will have 5 Melee damage, 4 Speed and 7 Health, for a 5 Mana cost. It has Sneak ability form level one, but it is a powerful card starting from level 4, when it gains 3 Melee damage and Dodge (evading melee and ranged attacks). At max level 8 Dodge is complemented with Backfire (doing 2 damage back for every enemy atack missed). As you can see, given these skills, it is an ideal card to play on no magic rulesets, but it is always useful as the last card, especially if you combine it with some kind of healing.

So, for the challenge, this were the starting conditions:
Mana Limit: 52
Rulesets: Broken Arrows (no ranged cards) and Weak Magic (armor get hit first)
Teams:
Mine - Summoner: Yodin Zaku, bossting my team with +1 Ranged attack (useless this match due to the ruleset), +1 Health and Blast (do extra damage to the monsters nearby the one you hit), Living Lava as main tank, reducing incoming damage with Shield ability and decreasing enemies armor by -2 using Rust, backed up by Fineas Rage, using Reach to attack from the second position and Oppress skill (not needed this match), Tenyii Striker with Sneak and Dodge, and 3 magic users, Djinn Inferni with Giant Killer and Stun, Ifrit Rising with Recharge (doing 9 Magic damage every other round plus Blast and Caladuum decreasing magic damage with Void, even if it was a Weak Gagic ruleset, as I bet on Yodin's Blast skill.
Opponent - Summoner: Daria Dragonscale, boosting Melee damage by +1, Goblin Mech as main tank with Piercing and Stun, backed up by Carnage Titan with Reach and Double Strike, Tenyii Striker too, and Sandworm, both with Sneak, Bettle Queen with Heal and finally, Naga Fire Wizard, hoping to hold the back door using Shield and Thorns (a true Sneak killer).
Round 1 - Beetle Queen dies first, before healing nobody, due to Blast. My main tank barely survived with 1 Health.
Round 2 - Djinn Inferni is taking out both tanks, the Goblin Mech and the Carnage Titan, using Blast, while his Naga Fire Wizard managed to kill my tank finally, before dying herself. I won.
Star of the game - Yodin Zaku, as the Blast provided to every monster of the team did wonders in the battle.
On the side note, my continuous support for Splintertalk.io is going well, with my SPT tokens number raising over 1.12 million. All of it is delegated to @monster-curator, as this account is doing a great work curating the best posts on the forum. I have finally reached the needed SPT power (110K at the moment) to manually curate on Splinterlalk.io. Also, i have finished working on acquiring 50K+ 1UP (56k 1UP now) next, inspired by the Cartel efforts. Bought 200K Level too, for PsiberX airdrop, as I also managed to round up 100 Hive to buy a piece of Land in their game. Got 4 PsyberX packs already on airdrop in the last 3 months, with one more to come in September. Happy to have them! On top of this, it will be a new soccer game made by the Splinterlands team, with quite some interesting mechanisms. Coming up in September-October with the first versions!
