Splinterlands latest news are:
- Astral Entity is the latest Legendary Chaos Legion summoner airdroped on Splinterlands. I was not as lucky as usual, with only 2 cards dropped this time.
- Good news, the soulbound cards will get eventually non-soulbound, in a couple of years from now, as you can infuse them with DEC, once a new set of soulbound reward cards will be released with the new Rebellion set, so then they will finally be transferable.
- DEC-B (DEC baterries) sale was quite succesful, and you can still buy 1000 DEC-B for 800 DEC or for 5 VOUCHERS. Almost 25% of them were already sold.
- Check FOMO February events on Twitch.tv, for a chance to win some Legendary cards.
This is my latest test for Splinterlands, as I am only playing for the Guild Brawls, and I rented most of my cards. I let myself rent 2 teams to play a bit during the holidays,

As I have started this few season ago (beginning of November), these are my stats:
Chaos Legion packs bought: 1887 (none)
Chaos Legion packs unopened: 408 (+4)
Riftwatchers packs bought: 149 (none)
Riftwatchers packs unopened: 0
Cards upgraded and rented:
Stitch Leech - Upgraded to max level 10
Immortalis - Upgraded to max level 4
Astral Entity - Upgraded to level 3 (got 2 cards on airdrop, and bought another 4 to reach level 3, 5 more needed to max level)
The funds to upgrade the cards are, for now, from using DEC from rentals, and ocassionally selling some GLX. Got another 3 CL packs on season rewards, and one on daily rewards, going above the projected 400 packs, ready to sell them 2-3 months after the CL are fully sold. And transform everything into Hive Power, reaching another one of my targets. With the release of the DEC-B, I managed to buy 67K of it, but I will need some multiples of 10K, planning to use them to buy building build boost. The Vouchers will be probably added to liquidity on Tribaldex, and the SPS will be used to get some extra RW packs (another 53 planned, we see how this goes).

is a bit better at the end of the season, i got anything between 4k to 10K daily.
yes it did make some improvement, but for me towards 1k DEC instead of 5k+
