This week battle challenge is Defender of the Truth. The problem is that i do not possess too many cards from the Alpha/Beta collection, as i just started 2 months ago. So instead of this, i will show a movie about one of my favourite cards of the Life Splinter - The Silvershield Bard. Despite this, i noticed that the Defender of Truth is quite an useful card, so i am currently farming the DEC needed to buy it. I need to increase the number of Alpha cards, at least up to the limit needed for the Alpha tournament.
This card is awesome, with 1 Mana cost, Cleanse ability (good against poison) and Swiftness at level 5. It is a very cheap game changer with 1 Damage at level 2 and 2 Damage at level 6 and 3 Life at max level.

The ruleset was Odds Ones Out, and the Mana limit was 14.
Both of us used Tyrus, with the difference that mine was level 1 and his was level 6, so i lost, of course. I played War Chaang as tank, Divine Healer to keep the tank alive a bit more and the Silvershield Bard on the back. But the opponent used summoner and cards too high in level for my level 1 Tyrus to compete.
I am happy still as i reached Gold I Power, even if i am not at that level, so i am planning to just play there for the rewards, at the moment, and enjoy the growth (i an in dire need to upgrade the summoners a bit more, as i got them mostly at 3, with only one at 4.
I am trying to participate to the battle challenge anyway, as i notice that many people are becoming interested after reading few of them, and they decide to try the game.

True, the Baard is a very useful card even more now with the new ruleset of poison rain, it can help by removing the curse. I wish you luck in the battles!
