Recommended water team for beginners

This is the 2nd week of me playing, and so far had been able to reach the Silver 2 with more difficulties as the season just began. Reason being, those who achieved Gold last season will be 'demoted' to Silver and start from there. Many hard battles are fought, and finally I reached Silver 2. This taught me a lot about the different cards that I have never seen before, and how strong they are.
So I decided to create a simple guide for water team as I felt that they are the most user friendly and armor piecing team due to mana attacks. However, as you reach higher in the league, you will face a lot of counters and this method might not be as effective as lower league.

Trust me when I say you NEED to rent cards in order to proceed to high league level. With the starter cards that are playable, I would say it's insufficient and extremely hard to progress. Moreover, you need power to proceed to higher league, hence do look out for gold foil rare or epic card as it will improve your power more drastically.
First I'd like to introduce my favorite cheap tank that will be very efficient when facing a low mana pool battle :
If it's a high mana pool battle, I would have both Elven Defender (Pos 1) and Kelp (Pos 2).
The rest of the team, depending on the mana left, I would try to fill up as much firepower (pure magic attacks).
Some example will be : Sea Genie, Medusa, Ice Pixie, Captain's Ghost, Mischievous Mermaid etc.
Do remember that the summoner you should use should be Alric Stormbringer as it adds +1 to all the magic attack :
Of course if you manage to get a legendary summoner, Valnamor would really be the best :
There are too many different type of strategy and counters for all the cards and style. Please trial and error and you might be able to find out what are the cards that you actually played for best.
Remember, this is a game and meant to be really fun and competitive. Whenever you are on a losing streak, don't be despair and try to find out what went wrong instead. Sooner or later, experience will definitely helps and you might start your winning streak once again !
Most important thing is to have LOTS of fun !

Battle Orcas are also good tanks for low mana battles at 3 mana and provide 1 attack.
