It's all about finding new ways to enjoy an old game.
Firstly there is the always exciting end of season rewards. It was a good haul for me this time around hitting a recent high of champion II which I hadn't reached in a long, long time.
I hit over 270K Glint which is nice to see with the recent price hikes in the glint store. I've tended to stay away from the more expensive chests so far this season and worked towards opening as many of the cheaper option as possible.
Just with my large glint haul i started out with 15 Ultimate chests before knocking out the 300 minor chests with a quick glint return from the extra battles and energy.

It is nice to get so many rewards from the cheaper chests and to be fair you can hit a few decent pulls along the wat too so it can be worth it.
You are not always guaranteed better results from the more expensive chests so it will be a bit of fun to just keep opening every day as the extra energy gets extra battles.
Ultimate Chests.

As you can see this was a fairly poor return from 150K glint compared to how much I got from the 300 Chests with another 150K glint.
This is one of the older ways to enjoy the game and a frequent one every two weeks.
Part of the new incentives is the reward draw that you enter from you battles and from the reward chests with the weekly fortune draw.
I have pulled one max foil card so far that looks the part but unfortunately nothing to write home about this week.
I have managed to score a few unlucky gnomes and entries to the unlucky leaderboard.

Each week you don't win, your Fortune Entries convert into Lucky Coins.
Every 500 Lucky Coins scores a copy of Luckiest Longshot, the unluckiest rock gnome in all of Praetoria. When the Fortune Draws are over, you'll also get a second-chance draw based on your place on the Lucky Coin Leaderboard. Lucky you!
I would much rather be hitting a few gold or black arcane but what can you do??? There are far larger accounts with far more fortune entries that will get the rewards over the course of the event.
I do like the idea behind it though. I just wish that they put a little bit of sparkle to the draw every week. A video or something with all the winning pulls rather than clicking a button and seeing that you haven't won anything. Something like a tv lotto draw.
Exclusive draws.
I found another little section that I hadn't paid much attention to in the past as well yesterday. Exclusive draws.
I just hadn't seen much about it to date and was browsing the different tabs when i found Lyra & Lorn's Exclusives.

IT had an interesting little look about the whole thing and when I saw that you could get exclusive cards for vouchers i went a little bit deeper. I actually had built up a few vouchers form back in the day and managed to purchase three copies of Cloveria Morth'lana.
It turns out to be a tidy little epic card that is selling for about $5 a piece at the moment which gives me $15 to buy a couple of maxed out arcane cards or even a couple of maxed golds if the timing is right which is a nice surprise.
There are constantly new additions to the game and new rewards for active players so it's worth logging in daily to compete.
Try for yourself.
If you haven't played the game before then now is the best time to join. Today is much better than tomorrow and a lot better than later.
While other web3 games are failing on all sides, Splinterlands has been here for seven years and going strong.
