I hope you are doing fine and well wherever you are. I started playing Splinterlands a day ago and I find this game very interesting and fun. Gameplays tend to be different on every opponent that's why I got hooked. I used to play a similar card game, Magic The Gathering, but because of the recent pandemic situation I'm no longer able to play it with my friends.
Today, I want to share with you my recent battle using a Dragon card that's available for new players like me.

This mythical creature has a head of a rooster and the body of a dragon. For 2 mana, it has a pretty decent stats of 2 health and flying ability that has a chance of evading attacks from monsters without flying.
𝐋𝐞𝐭'𝐬 𝐠𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐮𝐩 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞
In this lineup, I used Cocatrice as a tank to absorb the first damage from my opponent.
My strategy in this lineup is to kill the opponent's Monsters at the back first while also lowering their Health with the Undead Priest's weaken ability.
As you can see above, Cocatrice helped in keeping my other tank Monster alive after taking the first hit.
The plan worked as my opponent's remaining Monster is his tank. Without any other hitters, it's a sure win since most of my team are still on the board.

I don't have any other Dragons in my collection since my account is just new. But I'm planning to buy or rent Black Dragon in the future.
Its Life Leech ability is pretty interesting. Having a Magic Attack that always hits matches this ability perfectly and could definitely increase his Health each turn.
