Hello everyone. I hope you're all doing well. I'm posting my Share Your Battle Challenge for this week featuring Grumpy Dwarf.
Challenge Rules
THEME: GRUMPY DWARF

Edition: BETA
Rarity: COMMON
Element: NEUTRAL
ATTACK: MELEE
ABILITIES: Reach at level 1
Battle Ruleset
Mana Limit: 19
Standard Ruleset: No modification to the standard gameplay rules and mechanics.
Meet the Team
My opponent's last summoner was Zintar Mortalis which reduces melee damage to all opponent monsters. Due to this, I decided to use Alric to counter it using a team that uses Magic Damage. Having a boost of +1 Magic Damage increases my chance of winning this battle.
I usually use this card as a tank on a Water Splinter team when there is enough mana. Its Dodge ability is pretty awesome in fights that use melee and ranged attacks. It can survive longer in battles due to this ability along with its high health and 2 armor. It can also pack a punch with its 3 melee damage.
I used this card as a secondary tank in this lineup to absorb damage and prevent my damage dealers from getting attacked if my main tank dies. Its Reach ability allows it to attack while on the 2nd slot. Its 1 armor also prevents it from dying easily from big attacks.
This card is one of my mains when using a Water Splinter team. Its has decent health and since it uses Magic Attack it gets a boost of +1 attack from Alric.
This is also one of my mains in a Water Splinter team. Its quite good for a 2 mana card. It gets +1 attack from Alric since it uses Magic Attack. Although it has low health, a speed of 3 allows it to strike immediately at the start of battle.
I decided to use this card in this lineup as an additional blocker at the back of my team. I needed a card that costs 1 mana to fit the next monster in my team. Its flying ability increases its chance of dodging melee or ranged attacks from non-flying monsters.
Last but not the least is this card. I decided to use this in this lineup due to its Slow ability that reduces the speed of all enemy monsters. I also used it as an additional blocker at the back of my lineup to protect my damage dealers.
Lets Get In On!!!

Unfortunately, my opponent chose Pyre as his Summoner which adds +1 speed to all his monsters. Also having Cerberus as my opponent's tank puts my team in a very tight position because of its ability to heal itself.

Things were not looking good with my team as their HP was also reduced by 1 because of Goblin Shaman's Weaken ability. At the start of round 1, my tank took a beating since my opponents monsters had the advantage of striking first. Grumpy also received some blast damage from Fire Elemental but thanks to his armor he was able to survive this round.

At the end of Round 1, my team was able to defeat Cerberus. Grumpy was also able to land an attack to one of my opponent's creatures.

Grumpy and my tank died at the same time because of another blast damage but my team was able to defeat two of my opponent's monsters at the end of Round 2.

Luckily Medusa was able to defeat another of my opponent's monsters. Leaving a ranged monster on the first slot that can no longer attack.

It took a while but Medusa was able to finish the game and win this difficult battle.
The Aftermath
I like using Grumpy as a backup tank in matches that require less mana. In this match he was able to do his job of protecting my damage dealers which paved the way to victory. Although my lineup had a huge disadvantage, keeping Medusa alive was the key to this successful battle.
I'm really having a lot of fun playing this game. These Weekly Challenges also adds more spice to it. Till next time, have a good weekend everyone!!!
