Guild Life in Splinterlands – Rewards Beyond the Battlefield

in #splinterlands9 months ago

Hey everyone, welcome back to the Splinterlands social media challenge!
This time, I want to have a little chat and share something with you about Guilds—yep, the perks of joining a guild and how my latest brawl experience proves just how important they really are.

If you’ve read my previous post about guilds, you probably already know there are tons of benefits to being in one. But today, I want to dive deeper into the results of our most recent brawl—where my guild finally secured 1st place. The feeling was amazing, especially since I personally contributed 18 points from 6 pretty intense wins.

To be honest, this brawl was full of surprises. There were tough opponents that made me think twice before locking in my formation, and there were also some empty slots that gave me instant wins. But that’s exactly the fun part—it feels like more than just an individual battle; it’s about fighting for the guild’s name. And the results? Totally worth it:

  • 2,500 Merit Points
  • 42,296 SPS staking

Not bad, right?

Now the next question is: what did I do with the rewards?
Well, I’ve collected 10,056 Merit, which means enough to trade for 5 Gladius Cases. For those who don’t know, Gladius Cases are special packs containing 5 gladiator cards—unique cards that can only be used in brawls.

And here’s what I pulled from those 5 packs 👉

Unfortunately, luck wasn’t fully on my side this time—no legendary or epic cards showed up. But I still managed to grab some common and rare cards that will definitely help upgrade my collection. It feels like slowly stacking up power—step by step—so that when the next brawl comes around, my team will be even stronger.

From those common cards, I’m hoping to soon level up a few of the ones I use most often—namely Chimney Wallstop, Relenor Cleaver, and Sola Ranjell. These cards are already close to reaching the level where they unlock new abilities in my collection. So even if I haven’t pulled another legendary yet, I’m really hoping to find some duplicate cards in a future pack to help push them to the next level.

When I think about it, this is one of the coolest parts of being in a guild. It’s not just about the rewards—it’s the sense of togetherness. We learn strategies from each other, we support one another, and there’s this community vibe that makes the game feel so much more alive. For new players, it’s also a shortcut to grow faster. Imagine this: by joining a guild, you’re not just playing solo—you’ve got a whole team ready to share insights, strategies, and encouragement.

So if anyone asks me why they should join a guild, my answer is simple: because a guild makes the game so much more meaningful. You’re not only chasing personal victories, but also contributing to something bigger. And the rewards? Definitely worth it.

That’s it for my story this time. See you in the next Splinterlands post—who knows, maybe next brawl I’ll finally have a legendary Gladius card to brag about!
