I usually wake up around 5:00 a.m., but lately I've been staying under the covers until 8:00 a.m.
My eyes are so tired and dry that I can't stay awake for long.

So I thought I had to adapt to winter life.

And I quit streaming Pokemon, which was a challenge for me.

そして僕はチャレンジしていたポケモン配信を辞めた。
個人的に暇ができたらポケモンをする。
趣味の料理も一旦辞めた。
買い物などで時間をすごく取られるからだ。
その代わり家から20分くらい歩いたところに安くておいしい定食屋さんがある。
歩いていけばいい運動にもなるし、景色がいいので目にもいい。
一石二鳥だ。

朝と夜はあまり食べなくても平気なので、自炊するよりも節約になっているから嬉しい。

This is a Thai curry I had at an Asian restaurant with a very particular and well-traveled owner.
The quality is such that you would think it was a fine dining restaurant. The ingredients are imported and locally sourced, so it is quite expensive in Kochi.

This was by far the best eating out I have had in Kochi. I'll end with this one.
It is a roast beef bowl. And this ingredient is made from "Akagyu," a fantastic Kochi brand of beef, of which only 1,600 heads are shipped annually.
I don't usually talk to strangers, but it was so delicious that I couldn't help but express my excitement to the owner.

A bit expensive, but it is a must-try dish when you come to Kochi.
