WHATZZZ UP!

In this battle, I used a Water Summoner. I think this is my first time to make a post about my battle using this summoner. Because in most of my battles I use Earth Summoner. This time I will try a new summoner and line up.

For my line up in this battle:

  1. Cruel Sethropod
  2. Flying Squid
  3. Angelic Mandarin
  4. Deeplurker
  5. Ice Pixie
  6. Kulu Swimhunter

Versus my enemy's line up:

  1. Unicorn Mustang
  2. Regal Peryton
  3. Venari Spellsmith
  4. Goblin Psychic
  5. Khmer Princess

Water Summoner versus Earth Summoner. Both consumes 4 mana, but the water summoner has more abilities. The water summoner provides plus 1 speed and shield. While the Earth Summoner only provides one additional magic attack. That is why when you are using this summoner it is best to use cards with magic attacks to maximize its ability. While for the Water Summoner it is more flexible.

Usually my opponent has more cards in the battle. But in this case I have one card advantage. Is that really an advantage in my side? Considering that my opponent has healer, that can sustain its frontline. My cards have 28 health in total, while my opponent's cards have 23 health. In addition to my 28 health, my summoner will be giving extra one shield on my cards. Another advantage on my side. But the problem is, the shield will not matter because most of my opponent's cards are magic attack. They have the ability to ignore the shield and directly attack the card. Which is why I love using cards with magic attack and also the Earth Summoner.

Round 2, my front line has been taken down. I must say that the Unicorn Mustang of my opponent is a great frontline. It is also being supported by the Goblin Psychic which makes it hard for my cards to take it down. Most of my attacks in the Round 1 are missed that is why my opponent had a great advantage in that round. We are only able to take down the Venari Spellsmith which is not a good trade for our frontline.

Round 3, I still have 4 cards while my opponent has three cards. We are still not able to take down their frontline. The good thing here is I only have one magic attack card. If most of my cards has magic attack, we will not be able to take down the Unicorn Mustang because of its Void ability. It reduced damage from magic attacks. My Angelic Mandarin is now at the frontline, which means it can no longer attack. It will be just waiting there to be taken down. The main problem right now is their healer because of the sustain it provides for the frontline.

Round 4, we were able to take down their healer. No more sustain or unli heals in this round. As long as my Kulu Swimhunter stays at the backline, we will be able to win this round. But if my cards' attack missed and were all taken down leaving the Kulu Swimhunter alone. That will be a disaster because Kulu Swimhunter is range attack.

Round 5, there frontline has been taken down. That took longer than I expected. I must say that the Unicorn Mustang and Goblin Psychic is really a good combo. But I am also happy because I was able to counter it using my Water Summoner. At this round only the Regal Peryton is left. Will it be able to survive this round?

Round 6, it did manage to survive that round. We are now at the sixth round and the Regal Peryton is still alive and kicking. Trying to make an epic comeback. But that seems impossible now because one attack coming from my Kulu Swimhunter can take down the Regal Peryton.

At the end of the Round 6, I thought my Kulu Swimhunter will be the final kill but it miss its attack. The ice pixie initiated the attack and then supported by Deeplurker for the final kill.

That was a good fight and not an easy one. That Unicorn Mustang was really a headache. But I'm glad that I was able to counter it using the Water Summoner. I now have an option when my opponent always uses Earth Summoner.

THANKZZZ
