RE: New Player's Guide to Splinterlands - How to Escape from Bronze 3

in #splinterlands4 years ago

Hi thank you for your post as an absolute beginner in Splinterlands I found it very useful and could come back to refer to it again. A problem I came up against is I keep losing everything. I tried practice mode beceause I thoght I can can practice but I got locked out of practice like I always get locked out battle, what's going on. How can I get loads of practice? Thank you.

Thank you @sianos for the nice words. Yes, these are so important to me to get past the starting phase! Do follow this space here as I will be posting more things in the future, hopefully to help fellow new players like me and you.

Personally, I would say just keep on playing the rank battles. No harm losing, a few ratings wouldn't hurt. But the next time you play, look out for the match conditions as they changes the ENTIRE gameplay. And if your opponent wins you, look at their lineup. Many a times players win the game with a super well thought out lineup with a sound strategy. Pay attention to what they are using, and try to understand why your tactics dont work against them. I am sure very soon you will climb up. Also, as cards used are different in every tier, do continue this process as you carry on with the game! There is no constant one size fit all strategy for Splinterlands, which is why it is all so great!

The practice battles tend to get fought not very often. Just enter the ranked battles going forward, it's the best way to get experience in my opinion. You may lose some rank points but don't worry! We all win some and all lose some. That's the best way to get experience and keep growing!
