Splinterlands founder, Aggroed, announced this afternoon that there will be a special give-away in connection with the upcoming ZenSports Silver Tournament, which is scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m. eastern time.
Gold Foil Give-Away
For the first time in game history, Splinterlands will be awarding prizes, not to the players themselves, but rather to those best able to predict who will win the Tournament.
"OK, gonna try something new today. ZenSports is hosting their Silver Tournament. To make it extra fun for players I'm offering up a prize of 4 Gold Foil Lobstradamus for the players who are best able to predict who wins the tournament," Aggroed explained in an official update on the Splinterlands Discord channel this afternoon.
Gold Foil Lobstradamus are currently selling for $175.00 on the secondary card market, and rent for just under $3.00 a day on the rental market.
How to enter the drawing
There is no cost to enter. Players must simply log their predictions into Challonge (https://challonge.com/s5r69c3t), and make sure to name your prediction using your Splinterlands username, or else your guess will be disqualified.
Aggroed went on to explain "Only one bracket per account. Accounts with more than one bracket will be excluded from being able to win," and that "the bracket predictions must be in place before [the Tournament] starts or you won't be able to enter anything." Again, the Tournament starts at 5:00 p.m. eastern time, about 4 hours after the originally announcement was made, and three hours from the posting of this blog.
