RE: "Splinterlands" Power Strategy Tips #65

Agreed 100%. Since I have been a strong supporter of the game since I joined I have made the CALCULATED decision to be as diplomatic as possible and simply REDUCE my participation to the bare minimum as a result of this. I was already upset about the tournaments (which I used to really enjoy, and win often, when they were ACTUAL touraments. This land debacle was COMBINED with my frustration over the tournament changes, and was the "final straw" for me. Now admin is (as I intuited) starting to talk about "banning people who are "belligerent"" - so here we go with the proverbial "slippery slope". This only REINFORCES my instinctive immediate response (after the initial rage - after which I exited the Discord within 10 minutes of venting) to simply METHODICALLY and DIPLOMATICALLY disengage my activity to the bare minimum (ex. honest daily game play for honest DEC income). What they also need to consider is that players like myself chose to put a significant amount of their crypto holdings into this game under certain ASSUMPTIONS, and if they take away the basis of those assumptions then I predict they will see more people disengage and start diverting their DEC elsewhere. I don't think there is anything wrong with saying that. My CONSTRUCTIVE suggestion to admin has been that (from a marketing and PR perspective) it would make sense to calculate the amount of time a player has been playing the game (plus the actual NUMBER of battles we have played) and the offered a "loyalty" coefficient which would increase the chance of at least being able to get some land, and participate I that important aspect of the game. Instead, at this point, I now have to deal with an annoying pop-up i my face every tie I log in to the game, which only rubs it in my face what happened with the 1st round of presale. This is only AMPLIFIED by y decision to now not buy land AT ALL. So those are my "two cents", presented NON-belligerently - like it or not.
