The card we will be discussing today is Goblin Shaman.

• Strengths and Weaknesses. If the card can counter other cards and/or be countered easily by others or not.

Rental/Buy Cost ||

Below is the rental and buy cost of the card at the time of this writing.

Any Alpha Edition, Gold Foil is always going to be expensive but this, being a common card, does not provide a good power for its price. The rental is decent. It's a good option since Alpha Gold cards provide 20% DEC per win boost.

Card Stats ||

• Damage: 1
• Speed: 2
• Health: 3
  *Mana: 3
  Very low stats for a mid level card. However, you're not using this card for the stats it provides. The mana cost is good for low level mana fights.

Card Effect ||

*Weakened: Reduces the Health of all enemy Monsters by 1. It cannot be less than 1.
*Slow: Reduces the Speed of all enemy Monsters by 1. It cannot be less than 1.

The effects is the reason why you pick Goblin Shaman. No need to explain further. The effects explain themselves for why this is an amazing pick.

Strengths Weaknesses ||

|| As stated, the effects is the strong suit. It's amazing specially when combined with snipers as snipers normally prioritize mages and supports. Those two types are the lowest health monsters in the game. With Goblin Shaman, you will almost always one shot them.

|| The stats is the Achilles heel of this card. The low stats makes it an easy target for snipers . The bonus 1 magic damage starting at level 4 is a good plus but the low health and speed is still apparent. ════════════════════════════════

Positioning ||

• The best position for this card is in the middle. I consider this card as a support card. You pick Goblin Shaman for its effects. Its low stats makes it normal to provide cover from the front tanks and the back sneaks.

Compatibility ||

  The -2 max health to all opponent creatures is a great advantage. Not only you make every opponent creature easy to kill but you also reduce the healing effects from creatures with heal and tank heal by 1.

Final Thoughts

With all the evidences that we gathered, we could say that Goblin Shaman is an amazing card. Even if it's quite expensive, this is still a priority card on high silver to low gold. The combo with Plado Emberstorm is devastating specially with Fire elements having huge blast damages and even a Trample ability to some of them which allows the monster to make a second attack if that monster kills the target or Stampede game rule, which allows trample ability to be reused EVERY TIME it kills a monster.

I do not have the proper cards to combo with this card and the DEC to provide a proper review of the higher level but the theory and the strategy is there for you to test. I assure you will have a good result with this card.

If the rent or purchase price is a little lower, I would give a perfect score for this card but it still stands that this is a very expensive purchase specially if you want the +20% DEC bonus per win.
