DROP BEARS : SEASON 70 : REPORT CARD

Completed in my first brawl, playing for my guild 'Drop Bears'. I have entered one before with another guild, but had no idea what I was doing and forfeited most of my games.

I had a bit of Hive sitting in my HiveEngine (Tribaldex) wallet so I decided to spend it on some CL packs (4) and managed to snare a couple of gold foils (Obsidian (summoner/rare), Riftwing) and 7 rare cards in total.

Nothing much to report here. My performance was below average with more losses than wins as I'm still learning my cards and their abilities, in respect to how and when to play them for the best advantage.

This season, I have learnt a few new strategies that seem to be improving my game although, I still haven't managed to break through to the Bronze II League. There was a moment when I thought I might get there but then a run of losses saw me sink almost back to Novice.

During the season, after many losses in a row and in frustration, I kinda rage quit and put ALL my cards up for rent. However, this meant I wasn't completing my daily quests and I only had the starter pack to play with. It wasn't long before I realised all my favourite cards were rented out.

Does anyone else wonder if they are being beat by their own cards, rented to another player?

It trickles in, slowly and I continue to stake 100%.

Joining the 'Drop Bears' guild was the best move for me. It keeps me engaged and adds a much-welcomed social element to the game. There's a wealth of information to learn about Splinterlands and I appreciate being about to ask my guild members for guidance.

Now, I've completed my first brawl and I've even got some wins notched into my belt... (ok, so a couple of them were forfeits by my competitors - but they are wins, all the same and the notch remains.)

Until next time, go live your best life and enjoy everything the world has to offer.

You did so well considering you're very new to the game and still getting to know your cards :) A win is a win!!! I think moving forward, brawls wise, you could easily become our bronze specialist. Competing in bronze is, I think, one of the hardest aspects of the game. Minimum abilities, low mana caps.. Its a tough level to be on. You gots this!!!!! Just keep getting to know your cards and what they can do.

I must say, I was very surprised to win my first battle. It was unexpected and set some (maybe unrealistically) high expectations for the remaining battles. I was thinking about it all day at work and couldn't wait to get home so I could log on to see how the rest of them played out. All in all, it was a fun experience to be part of such a great guild team.

onward and upwards... i swear Bronze league is harder than silver lol!

:-)

Yes, I'll have to keep chipping away at it but it looks like I've found a good team of cards that are serving me well, they don't win every battle but they win often enough.
