Mainly melee unless there is poison or earthquake. I think I mainly used it with earth splinters. So if I have enough mana, Unicorn Mustang or Flesh Golem as tank. Then Manticore in 2nd place. Add in a mix of whatever I feel is better for the ruleset/mana among the my sneak and opportunity cards.
My sneak and opportunity cards are: Goblin Thief, Screeching Vulture, Dragon Jumper, Parasitic Growth or Sand Worm. The only exception is Vigilator since he has good speed, double attack and duo type for attacks which I stick in sometimes.
