# Splinter Stats Season 57 Report Card

@sm-trainer

Whew! I barely got through Season 57. This game gets harder and harder every new season. I've tried to upgrade a card or two here and there to boost my performance. But unless I jump in and spend a fortune renting some of these high powered cards that are all the rage now, I don't think I'll be getting into Diamond league much longer. Even so, my total rewards for this season were pretty fantastic.

I was able to make it into Diamond league by the skin of my teeth this season. But, with my highest rating only 2915, I wasn't even close to making it to tier 2. With DEC payouts very small, I didn't have much incentive to play a lot of matches either. On a positive note, I was close to 100 match wins for the season and I had a win/loss ratio over 1.

Rewards were somewhat muted this season. I did manage to get 6 Epic cards for rewards for the season. Most were the new reward edition cards from my season rewards, but I did get a $7 Axemaster card from a Daily Quest earlier in the season.

Thanks to a Loot Chest containing over 14,000 DEC I ended the season with over 24,000 DEC in Total Ranked Play Earnings. That's almost 10,000 DEC more than last season!

My rental income is another bright spot in this report. I posted a few more cards for rent this season and it payed off. My net rental income increased by 1500 DEC from last season. I'll be posting even more cards for rent this season. So if the number of new player continues at the current pace, I'm hoping to increase my rental income even more.

Those big piles of DEC in the loot chests had a ripple effect in my SPS income also. Thanks to the big bump in the amount of DEC I'm holding, my amount of airdropped SPS increased for the season and so did my staking rewards. All total I got 94 more SPS this season over last season. That's not a big increase, but any increase is a big deal to me and shows I'm headed in the right direction.

It's funny to think that the contents of one loot chest changed this from a so-so season to a great season, but that's what happened. Loot chests like those are few and far between so I shouldn't sit back and expect then to occur all the time. Hard work and grinding are what I need to rely on to make this new season a great one. This report is step one of that effort.
