So last April 19, 2022, we had our live event for the splinterlands tournament here in Calbayog City. The registration started as early as 6pm. Unfortunately, I came to the event late. hahaha 😂 luckily it didn't start early. I'm hungry when i went to mango lounge so i have to wait for us to eat. hehehe.😂
of course, upon entering the venue. we have to register our names as guest or players. we had a total of 26 participants for the tournament. FYI, it's free registration. so it's a guaranteed win if ever we win or lose. hahaha.
we have prizes for the top 5 winners. 1 chaos legion packs for the 5th placer and 6th placer. 2 chaos packs for the 4th placer. 3 chaos packs for the 3rd plater. 4 packs for the 2nd placer and 5 packs for the champion.
i got the number 4 on the number draw. guess who is my first opponent for the 1st round? none other than the previous champion for our last tournament held on march. I was lucky enough to defeat the former champion. we had low mana battle. more or less 20 mana. and a limited element to be used. So I used earth element. I know that he will use earth also because i've known his strats since we had some practice scrims. I know he will use the earth element then I thought that he will use the unicorn as a tank to counter my magic damage. so i thought of instead the unicorn, i will use grud to deal more damage and to delete faster his unicorn mustang. so that my magic dealers will penetrate. luckily, my prediction is correct so i got my first win one the first round against the formet champion. some may say that i acted like a kid when I won but guys, it's a very big achievement for me coz i only won twice when we had 10 scrims. haha. I felt really happy winning that match 😆

Of course, before the event, we had a dinner. foods we served by the boys of @mangomayhem. Good food and good drinks. Cheers to us!
Unfortunately, the system prompted a notif that says the game will perform a maintenance after 30 mins. so we have to get a haste on the event. Sadly, we only manage to have the games finished up to TOP 6 players. Luckily, I was one of the top 6 players. hahahaha.
So we had this maintenance. then our only option to continue the tournament is to give the top 6 prizes. We had to do it by luck. so we had a lottery of names of who will be top 6 to champion. Then I was called as the 4th Top player so i'm guaranteed 2 chaos pack + the one I got as a live reward winner. haha. so i happen to get 3 chaos packs.
The 6th placer is Moises. The 5th placer is Ckyle. The 4th placer is me, your truly Arns360 hahahaha. 3rd is Joel, 2nd is renz and Champion is JR Chan with 5 packs. each one of us gets a magic mug. when you put hot water on the cup, it will display the design embedded on it.
And yes we have to celebrate our event. Thanks to @lvlup and ate @ems for the jaegermeister and red label. Also for the red horse from Mango Lounge owned by @mangomayhem.
And so we expect a bigger event after 5-6 weeks. And I will gladly take pictures and share an article for our Splinterlands enthusiats. Godbless and more Power!
