The hardest part is trying not to be overbearing about making sure people are paying up. If there was a direct message option within splinterlands i think it would be easier to control. Calling out someone in front of the entire group can be discouraging to other members also. It creates friction. Discord is a great option but not everyone joins. Is it also too pushy to make that a requirement? But for the potential that this game has i dont think asking for $5 to join and $1.50 a week is out of hand.

A DM option would definitely be helpful! Great idea! Or some sort of a reminder system to pay the dues so you don't have to hound everyone manually. I'm sure pretty much everyone is requiring fees at this point.
