It has been known that NFT games specifically “Splinterlands” have been a great blessing in disguise for this ever-changing generation. It has helped millions of people during these tough times, Furthermore, it brought enlightenment and education to the world about investing. However, it must be taken into account that while it provides extra income, it is a game that is meant to be played. Thus, it does not necessarily mean a replacement for your job or business. Everyone, players alike and devs have the greatest responsibility to maintain the game's economy. The developers can only implement features that can improve and bring innovation to the game as well as provide a better experience for old and new players. Nevertheless, the developers can implement hundreds of features but if our mindset is to only earn from the game, sooner or later it will come to an end. Imagine this, what do you think will happen in a newly started business if you keep withdrawing the earnings every day instead of putting every profit and reinvesting it? What will happen to banks if thousands of people put in money and after a week, those same people will withdraw all their money? When you invest your money in a company (let's say Coca-Cola), you have to use the product and help it become successful, because if the company becomes successful, the stock value will increase which will increase the value of your investment. It's the same for NFT games. And guys when it comes to games or tech, there will always be bugs and issues and there's a process to fix things. And when things go south or not as planned, we as investors should muster in and provide necessary support by providing spreading proper information and knowledge to others. It is very hard for me to comprehend as a new investor why there are people spreading negativity and FUDing one another on various social media platforms, it just doesn’t make sense. You invested and you’re the one destroying your investment, you’re not helping believe me, you definitely have a crab mentality. In this times, every second there are many new NFT play to earn games claiming that they are trustworthy and reliable but only a few you can trust.Others just last for days. Others took advantage because some of us want to earn fast or get ROI fast.
I hope everyone will help govern splinterlands that will benefit everyone and look at the game long term, not short term. If something goes wrong, be patient and contribute ideas instead of spreading FUD. Answer people politely if they ask questions. Play the game just like when the game started without looking at the available cards for rewards every day. We need to become real investors and gamers, otherwise, the era of NFT Gaming will not last.
