Liverpool's Mohammed Salah won the England Footballer of the Year award at the 45th Annual Association of English Professional Players.
Salah won the trophy ahead of Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyn, Tottenham Hotspur striker David Keane, David Silva, Leroy Sani of Manchester City and David Deja of Manchester United.
Salah is the second Arab player to win the award, after defeating Algerian Riadh Mehrez in 2016, in the season when Leicester were crowned Premier League champions.
The Egyptian striker leads the league's top scorer with 31 goals, joining Liverpool early this season from Roma.
Second place behind Salah, Kevin De Bruin, Manchester City's game maker, while third-placed Harry Kane, Tottenham's top scorer.
Salah: I hope you continue to break the numbers
"It's an honor for me to win the prize, especially since it came from my fellow players," said Mohammed Salah in a statement after winning the award.
"Since my first day in Premier League I have been aiming to be successful, I am very happy with this award and I am happy with my teammates and I hope to continue the successful course of the Champions League."
"I came back as a different player, but I did not get the chance at Chelsea and I got it in Liverpool. I've scored 31 goals so far. I hope to break the record by scoring the biggest number of goals in the lowest number of matches. "He said.
