Oh man I am a life long Laker fan. It would be awesome. But I unfortunately do not see it happening. I don't think he wants to play on a team that is rebuilding. The Pacers would want assets. And I know we are not giving up Brandon Ingram and I don't see the Pacers high on D'angelo Russel.
We do not have a number 1 pick for next year as that goes to the Celtics. And George would be a 1 year rental as he hits free agency after next season. It seems like the Cavs have at least Kevin Love to offer. And the Celtics have tons of pics.
But it's going to be fun to see how all this pans out. We just be patient @alexross. Get Lonzo Ball and build around him and Ingram.

Oh snap....you are right. We can wait a year and get him for nothing. He has all the leverage too as when a guy tells you he wont resign and he tells you what team he will play on in 2018 it diminishes his trade value to other teams. Yeah they might be forced to take Julius Randle or D'Angelo Russel.
