Atletico Madrid managed to keep a distance of seven points with Barcelona after beating hard resistance Athletic Bilbao with a score of 2-0 at the Estadio Wanda Metropolitano in the Spanish La Liga 2017/18 continued.
Atleti was forced to a goalless draw in the first half by Bilbao but Kevin Gameiro rose from the bench to break the deadlock before victory sealed a Diego Costa goal.

This victory is the 16th in La Liga for Atletico and an additional three points makes them 13 points ahead of Real Madrid who is ranked fourth.
Good to see Diego costa gradually returning to his best form. I think the laliga title is decided and would be won by Barcelona, the challenge by Atletico Madrid is coming a little to late.
