Here are last week’s results from The Open Championship.

Steemit Scramble Results – The Open Championship

Jordan Spieth came away with the major victory on Sunday at the 146th Open Championship in Southport, England. Spieth overcame some early final round mistakes that put his lead in jeopardy, but powered through and won by a three-stroke margin over Matt Kuchar. This was Spieth’s third win of the season and the eleventh in his career – and it’s also his third major victory. This win brought him to the top of the FedEx Cup leaderboard, 303 points ahead of Dustin Johnson.

These are the results from last week’s Steemit Scramble:

The 2x multiplier was Tommy Fleetwood’s final score for the tournament, which was +1. The closest contestant guess came from @hellhen, who once again guessed the exact number. As a result, @hellhen was able to double their score from 7 to 14, and added a five-point bonus for selecting a unique golfer combination.

The total pot for the weekly contest was 29 SBD. The 1st place contestant received 14.50 SBD, the 2nd place contestant received 8.70 SBD, and the third place contestant received 5.80 SBD. Here is the proof of payout:

The top-5 contestants each month will receive prizes and the top-10 for the season will also receive prizes. The current monthly contest will run through the end of August.
