Hi Friends,
After a couple of months with no races, NASCAR is back on the track for The Real Heroes 400 at Darlington. The race is on Sunday at 3:30pm EST and will take place with no qualifying, no fans in attendance, and social distancing in the pits.
This will certainly feel strange, but at the same time give a reprieve to many sports fans who are missing some good competition in their lives. The race will pay tribute to those on the front lines in the Covid-19 fight.
The starting order was determined by random draw in groups based on where teams were in the points standing prior to this race (4 groups with about 12 in each group). Darlington is a short track, so the action is sure to be tight and tempers will flare, which always makes for an exciting race.
