In last nights game between the Nationals and Orioles, the Nationals bested the Orioles 4-2. Max Scherzer pitched a great seven innings while giving up five hits and two earned runs and ended up with the no decision. The winning pitcher for the Nationals was newly acquired Kelvin Herrera who pitched the top eighth in a 2-2 game. The play of the game came in the bottom of the eighth when Bryce Harper led off with a double, then Trea Turner was walked, then came up to bat nineteen year old Juan Soto. He hit the game winning two run double off of Mychal Givens of the Orioles. The Nationals record is now 40-33 and they play tonight at home against the Philadelphia Phillies.
