SUPERBOWL 52 PREVIEW: DAVID VS. GOLIATH

in #sports6 years ago

SUPERBOWL PREVIEW:
Tom Brady, Bill Belichick and the Dynasty that is the New England Patriots, against the team that every writer, fan, and critic wrote off -- the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Dogs:

The Eagles have been written off since Carson Wentz went down with a torn ACL and LCL, but their defense has been as good as it gets. Led by a ferocious rushing attack and a physical secondary, the eagles defense bullied their way into SuperBowl LII with two impressive performances against the Atlanta Falcons and the Minnesota Vikings. The offense, led by Nick Foles, has struggled at times, and at times look like they still have their MVP candidate quarterback slinging it out there.

The Defending Champs:

Though they got off to a slow start at the beginning of the year, the defending champs have found their way back to their happy place. Led by arguably the greatest player/coach due of all time, the Patriots offense has looked head and shoulders above most defenses they've faced, including the league's number one defense Jacksonville Jaguars. While shaky at times, their defense led by future Head Coach Rob Patricia had held up strong this postseason.

KEYS TO THE GAME:

-Eagles ----> Clock management/Field Position & Win turnover battle

Patriots ------> Offensive Line play & Not giving up the big plays on defense

BETTING OPINION:
I am a gambling degenerate so this is in no way financial advice, and I am also a huge Eagles fan. I will be taking the DAWGS to cover the spread -5.5.
