The highest category of German football saw its seventh day pass, which left us with great games, some surprises and a lot of entertainment. Next, we tell you the most important thing about the date:

Bayer Leverkusen continues to lead and advance with firm footing.

The team led by the Spanish Xabi Alonso maintains the leadership of the Bundesliga for another week and does so with one of its best matches so far, both in terms of football and the importance of the match played. The Aspirinas comfortably defeated Cologne 3-0 , in what is known as the “Rhine derby” with a score that even fell short of the number of opportunities generated.

The match started positively for Leverkusen, who kicked things off at the BayArena thanks to a goal from Hofmann in the 22nd minute. Ten minutes later the second goal came through Frimpong, at 32' , finishing off This way the first period with the score of 2-0.

After the break the goal came to close the game. Victor Boniface in the 67th minute, would continue to show that he has been a great signing for Xabi Alonso and his team, establishing the final 3-0 and total excitement in the BayArena.

Bayern Munich thrashed Freiburg at home and asserts itself as the pursuer of Leverkusen.

The defending champion, led by Thomas Tuchel, achieved its fifth victory in seven games, after beating Freiburg 3-0 with goals from Kingsley Coman (12' and 85') and Leroy Sané (25').

In the initial part of the clash, the locals would take the lead due to the success of Coman, after being assisted by Müller. Moments later, Leroy Sané would also join the scoring party that seemed like it would be much larger due to how the game played out in the early stages. The Bavarian team tried by all means to increase the advantage, through clear opportunities from Kimmich, Kane and company, but they would not achieve it until there were 5 minutes left until the final outcome and Kingsley Coman would score again on the scoreboard, scoring the 3 to 0 final.

Borussia Dortmund thrashes and sinks Unión Berlin even further.

Dortmund beat a Unión Berlin 4-2, which is very punished, having lost its last seven games in a row (counting all competitions). Niclas Füllkrug quickly opened the scoring for the hosts but Fischer's team regrouped and turned the score around. Robin Gosens and a penalty scored by Bonucci put the visitors ahead 1 – 2. Between actions and VAR reviews, the game went to half-time with the advantage for those from Berlin and a lot of pressure on BVB.

With this adverse scenario, the second half of those led by Edin Terzic was much better and they ended up turning the game around, with goals from Schlotterbeck, Julian Brandt, and a Ryerson that fulfilled the law of the former and finished sinking a Unión Berlin who can't find his way and is increasingly compromised.
