Brazil have bad news ahead of their preparations for the 2018 World Cup after defender Dani Alves injured in ACL pieces of a victory over Les Herbiers in the Coupe de France final on Wednesday (9/5) early morning hrs yesterday.
In the game, Alves suffered a problem with his knee when PSG won 2-0 over the third division club, and now the club declares the player must rest for at least three weeks apart from not to close the possibility for surgery.
"After suffering a collision in his right knee in the final of Coupe de France, Dani Alves underwent a medical scan that confirmed an ACL injury," PSG said via Twitter on Twitter.
"The player will be evaluated in the next three weeks before deciding whether surgery is needed."
The condition is definitely not ideal for Brazil's preparations, which will fight in the World Cup against Costa Rica, Switzerland and Serbia in Group E.
Long before Alves, Brazil also mess around with the problems that befall Neymar, while the player is still in recovery to fight to appear in Russia next.
