The English Premier League's plans to have a winter break like other top European leagues are starting to get closer to reality.

During this time, the middle break of the season continues to be a long debate in England. Period without a break during Christmas and New Year has become a tradition of many years of English football. "We are getting closer to it, closer than in previous years," Glenn said in a meeting before the FA board member on Wednesday (30/5).
"It will soon materialize in the middle of the season, which is much needed for the improvement of [the quality] of the club and the English team," he added.
