The NBA league is in a frenzy, in my opinion just scared of the fire power of the reigning Golden State Warriors. We have seen super trades, huge contracts, and a lot of money on the table the last few weeks.
Right here takes the cake; the Houston Rockets have signed James Harden to a 4 year extension for $228 million dollar. With $59 million left on Harden's contract, this added $170 million extension will be the richest in NBA history.
The Rockets want to keep Harden at home locking him in after a career best season averaging 29.1 points, 11.2 assist, and 8.1 rebounds per game. He deserves it with all the work he put in, with the Rockets making major moves in the league Harden could win his first title.
Big Money! Roughly 500K per NBA game... Some say this is to reward him for the sacrifice he's making with CP3 coming to his team. Less stats for Harden but should make a deeper playoff push. Thank you! That's true he was quite disappointing in the elimination game this last playoffs against the Spurs. I've never seen him play so bad in a game... He was doing turnovers, missing layups, and basically everything to cause his team to lose.
