One of the popular betting medium is betting on the number of goals in a game. In certain matches it makes sense to focus on this than the result. When it comes goal market the win, draw or loses doesn't reflect the outcome of your bet. What really matters is the number of goals it doesn't matter which team score the goals. There are two categories when it come to goals market.
Under which means lesser goals
Over which means more goals

Over/Under 2.5 goals is the most common market as far as the football matches are concerned, meaning that you can bet on Over 2.5 goals to be scored (you win if there are three or more goals scored). If you bet on Under 2.5 goals(you win if there are two goals scored or less)
For example, you might bet on there being ‘Over 2.5 goals’ in Manchester City v Chelsea at 1.95, which means you win if there are three goals or more, regardless of who wins the match. It could be 3-0, 1-2 or 2-2 and you won the bet. There are just two possible outcomes in over/under betting, which significantly increases the winning chances.
2.5 goals market is not the only option available to you for betting on the goals market. There are other goals lines which are relatively easy to understand.
- Over 0.5 goals means the game has one goal or more
Under 0.5 goals means the game has no goal - Over 1.5 goals mean the game has one goal or more
Under 1.5 goals means the game has one goal or less. - Over 2.5 goals means the game has two goal or more
Under 2.5 goals the game has two goals and less - Over 3.5 goals means the game has three goals or more
Under 3.5 goals means the game has three goals or less - Over 4.5 goals means the game has four goals or more
Under 4.5 goals means the game has four goals or less - Over 5.5 goals means the game has five goals or more

less
