An annual prize giving ceremony of a college is really exciting. The annual sports of my college were held on the 10 January. The college was decorated with colorful flowers and papers gorgeously. Sufficient sitting arrangements were managed for the guests,teachers and students. A band party was managed to enhance the attraction of the sports. The programme began at 9 a.m. with recitation the Holy Quran. Some students ran around the field with the Olympic torch. The national flag was hoisted and some pigeons were flown as the symbol of peace. Then our principal declared the opening of the sports. The most remarkable events of the sports were 800-meter race, javelin throw, long jump, high jump, cycle race, dress as you like etc. I took part in long jump and cycle eace. I secured the first position in both events. Our local M.P. was the chief guest. He distributed the prize among the winners. Then the chief guest delivered his speech and declared the end of the ceremony.
