The fiery encounter known as French clásico or Le Classique will take place at the Stade Velodrome and the match kicks off at 8pm. PSG fans have been banned for the straight three years now which shows the intensity of rivalry between he two teams.
The French clásico between Marseille and PSG has always been huge as there are lot him history in the rivalry of the two. The arrival of Neymar and Mbappe will add more flares and the match will be bigger than ever. The game is very important for PSG if they were drive towards the title victory. Marseille has shown lot of energy and are one of the prime contender for the title win. Though they stand on fourth position, their ambitions transfer window has bought lot of depth in their squad and cannot be disregarded from the title race. PSG on the other hand stands on top of the table and goes 8 points ahead of Marseille. They would look for a routine win with their deadly trio, Neymar, Mbappe and Cavani.
Marseille has beaten PSG on November 27,2011 and that was the last time. Since that PSG are unbeated in their last 14 meetings with Marseille.

Marseilled captain Payet, who is always quiet, tells that the Le Classique will speak for itself. He told the club's website: "There is no need to talk before the match. If you do not have the desire, you should not be there." Payet also said: "There is a gap between the two teams but we cannot let that show on the pitch. You have to respect PSG, like all our opponents, but you must not just watch them play. We are motivated, it is a long time since OM have beaten PSG. It's hard, we want to finally beat them."
PSG manager Emery is not too overwhelmed by the fixture and has said: "We will approach this match the same as usual: with a lot of respect. The players know that Sunday is a special match. The rivalry is known throughout Europe and the world."
Marseille have lot of titles under their name and they have amazing squad and will give everything in front of their home fans. For PSG, even if they wont have their fans, it is very important for them to win the match. With so much quality and investment in the squad, loosing is not an option.
PSG will miss out on Dani Alves and Lucas Leive due to injury and Marseille, Luiz Gustavo due to suspension.
